  2. Right wingers always blame the government - It's so funny that they never blame greed. What's with these guys?

  3.  @davephillips9389  Yes - You know they complain about the government spending money. They complain about the government taking care of people. They complain about Medicare, i.e. sick people. They complain about Social Security which provides a minimum living to working people that have been screwed by the Capitalist system. They complain about any help the government does for people. However, they never complain about defense which largely protects the status quo of the rich.

  4.  @Clivetinker  Yes - 40 years ago was when the "Reagan Revolution" began. Truly great deficit spending. Great spending on the military and declines for the people. The Laffer curve. Increased "Offshoring." Real wages adjusted for inflation began their decline back then. It seems like there ought to be economic numbers that look at (1) quality of life (2) long term prospects based on current policies.
