  1. Seems to me I remember him saying he had libertarian leanings at one time. These folks strongly believe in the invisible hand of economics and ignore the millions of American workers that have been slapped multiple times by said invisible hand since the time of Reaganomics. In fact this invisible hand thing sounds a bit like a belief in magic where economic forces will automatically make everything OK. We are currently in what is termed the "Second gilded age." Eliminating this Jones act may help the people on top far more than the people on the bottom. Tread carefully around such ideas.
