  1. Peter is wrong. Nuclear plants can be built to "spin up" and "spin down." Baseload has made more sense in the past because natural gas has been available. Europe can transition to nuclear. Nuclear can be used as a source of Industrial process heat as well as for the manufacture of electricity. If Europe decided to manufacture nuke plants, then Europe would have a stable energy supply.Given the situation with natural gas, they may be forced into this alternative.

  2. Aren't LNG facilities still limited? Those big liquification compressors Are probably not idled. I suspect they are working to capacity.
