What the likes of Microsoft, Google, IBM and HP are working at in research in the next 15 year will blow people away. These systems will allow all of us to have personal assistants that can see the world with us and allow us to understand everything around us hence increasing our capabilities. You cannot blame the field of artificial intelligence for the ai of games which are really only scripted fields anyway with basic command structures that are pre-scripted. Now what will deep learning and neural nets that will be online systems do for gaming that is what you should be asking.

Analog will have its applications but that does not mean it will actually be the future of computing. Digital is an amazing mathematical system that is so simple but yet it is so far reaching. It is on a level of comparison with the decimal system or human language.
