  1. The German Army only has about 65000 fighting troops and needs to increase that 3 fold to come into line with the UK. Germany has a bureaucratic military infrastructure but not a genuine fighting military. That is about to change very quickly. While Germany has good military equipment it lacks the sort of scale that would enable it to repel a Russian invasion. Germany also lacks an active air force even though it does have the inventory. If Germany, France, Italy and the UK was to get all their air forces active they could really reign supreme in the European air space. All of them could easily put close to 800 active fighter jets in the sky over europe.

  5. Europe has the ability to produce its own gas and energy and if they get cut off in a very short period of time Europe would become a natural gas powerhouse.

  6. They are going to spend that money by actually putting their inventory of 250 fighter jets in the air, by deploying their inventory of weapons to the infantry and by growing their current 65000 army fighting force.
