  2. I am afraid Lineker works for the BBC by appearing on a BBC program. Doctors tried to pull that stunt by working for certain medical centres and then trying to claim they were self employed. Government did not buy it then and would not buy it today. If would be different if Lineker owned a production company that then hired him and they produced the show but they do not.

  4. If the BBC fired Lineker it would have zero impact on the ratings of show. People do not Tune into watch Lineker they watch the highlights.

  5. @Johnny Alucard Nothing wrong with that but what Lineker did was to come out against the government on policy and politics in general.
