  1.  @vasili1207  How is she irrelevant to this. The constant bullying on this has put his whole family under pressure. It is you that does not seem to understand the interjections of the media that are shaping modern politics. Once they move on from Owen Paterson they will find another Tory to push their negative news cycles. There are real issues the media can have with the conservative party but instead they are focused on very specific things.

  4. I read the headlines on this story and thought maybe he just had some conflicts of interest and they were giving him a simple punishment. Little did I know as the media did not present the story in a more expanded fashion. British media is very broken. I would suspect MP's with dodgy far left associations would not come under this type of political campaign.

  5. So you think an MP who is a doctor should not be able to practice medicine? Nobody gets to define what another person should be able to do as a living. Go down that route and it will not just be applied to MP's.

  6. I would suspect that the left and the media are looking to pick of Tories one story at a time. They will use these types of issues to build one negative story after another. They have always done this with the conservative party that is out of touch with the culture. A few MP's are right up to date with the culture and know how to handle it but the majority do not.

I think this is a media campaign that is now just starting with the media to constantly run negative stories about the conservatives party for the next election. They are going to try and keep a constant cycle of negative stories at play. That is how the destroyed the conservative party in the early 1990s and the fact the conservatives were not able to deal with the media.
