  1. The death penalty does not work because if it did then there would be no murders at all. Another flaw with the death penalty is that an innocent person could be found guilty and then be executed and this can never be reversed. And sentence can be reversed when it is just jail time. Life sentences without ever getting out is the answer as it mean incorrect guilt can be corrected.
