  1. +Lisa Vokorina How do you know that the symbols are linguistic in nature? Maybe they are a system of counting or they are not just some very rudimentary artistic expression. Some of the most basic symbols are squares and triangles. The argument that they are present over a geographical spread does not mean they are not doodles.
