  1. Most heroin addicts are brought up in areas where it is the norm. They have nothing in their life to motivate them. There is the odd addict who has come from a good life and had every opportunity but these are not the norm.

  2. You need to find an interest in life that will get you to concentrate all of your time and effort. If you are sitting around all day your mind will always revert back to your behavior patterns before. Now at your finger tips you have one of the greatest business/educational tools ever create. Technology is accelerating and it is creating a new world. Those that understand this will prosper and those who do not will get left behind.

  4. Most drug addicts are not from nice cozy homes. Poor areas in America have been over run with drugs. And children who have been born into this end up becoming part of it. They do not have the ability to think from yours or my prospective they are part of a system that breeds this type of behavior.

  5. Being financially comfortable has nothing to do with it. Our society as a whole has everything to do with it. We sit children in a room from the age of 4 to 18 and then they go and sit in bigger rooms for another 4 to 8 years. And as soon as they reach 18 we still call them children no wonder they act like idiots in their 20s. And this is only the tip of the iceberg in terms of our society. Banning heroin obviously does not work.
