  1. +charles swearingen No. The president can fire anybody in the executive including the AG. Obama was free to fire anybody he desired. As was Bush and Clinton before that. Obstruction means to interfere in an actual investigation. Firing a director who is actually an appointed executive of a branch of government does not constitute obstruction hence why Trump has not been prosecuted.
