  1. Americans that do not pay income tax still would pay tax on some level so getting that across to them is important. Republicans have a terrible message even though their policies are good. They are losing the culture war and do not even know they are in the middle of a culture war.

  2. Some votes require a 60 vote majority in the senate and they have 54 seats in the senate. They have a far bigger majority in the house of representatives.

  3. Paul is not voting against tax cuts he voted against the spending bill which we all know has some ridiculous things in it. Such as grants to universities to give students stress pets that they can stroke when elections do not go their own way or special spend provisions that allow congressmen to avoid Obama care and have their own special insurance.

  4. Rand Paul had an issue with the spending bill and not the actual tax cuts which he said he would vote for. Rand is trying to stand on principles.

  5. No Paul voted against the spending bill not the actual tax cuts which he said he would vote for. So calling him a traitor is a little rich considering the republicans who voted against repeal of Obama care.
