  1. So where are they going to take their cruise ships on the eastern side of the US that offers tropical America. There is nowhere that offers that. Disney is free to try and take several hundred billions of dollars and try and build some sort of tropical park in Texas or Georgia but good luck with that.

  2. Nope. Does not have the climate or tourist economy to do it. There is only one Florida and Disney is there for a reason but then again Disney have not been as good as they used to be so who knows what decisions they will make.

  4. Disney is not there because it gets a special deal. Disney is in Florida because the state already has a tourist industry and a climate that enables winter tourism that suits the rest of America and Europe.

  7. Freedom of speech. This is about politics. Disney decided to get involved in politics and political acts that were passing through a state legislator. Disney cannot complain when they find out that politicians will respond in kind. There is a reason why very few companies will actually get involved in politics.

  15. Obsessive? Disney was bullied into getting involved in Florida politics and now they are backed into a corner with the state of Florida an those bullies are not around anymore to help Disney. It is the weakest business management I have ever seen.
