  1. While it may seem like a good political strategy from the republicans it may end up being just a little bit too smart for their own good. Yes it may push certain states to lower their taxes but I doubt it will have that effect. I suspect what it will do is cause an exodus from the likes of California to the likes of Nevada next door and turn Nevada into a blue walled state that republicans would have no chance in. Nevada right now is a swing state but that could change very quickly over the next few years. The population of Nevada is 2.9 million and the population of california is 40 million people. Just a 2% drop in the population of California could destroy several surrounding states. I hope that Republicans have not gone for a short term gain to get it blow back in their faces in the long term. Remember just 100,000 from California could change nevada for ever.

My god if the democrats were not so suppid, constantly calling about the whole Russia thing they could have used the media to make a good point about California and the tax plan probably could have been changed so that California liberals would not be punished by taxation. But guess what they were just too interested in virtue signalling about Russia this and that to actually be interested in real things that affect their states and country.

  3. I doubt half of the 100,000 that could leave california would be voting republican. There is a strong chance that they would just vote with democratic lines.

  4. Typical communist big government assumptions. The Economy of California has nothing to do with the actual government of California. Government debt has no bearing on the economy but government taxation does.
