You actually think logic exists in the postmodern world? This is normal behavior and what she says will be the norm in the media and general culture in 15 years time. The very philosophy that is the foundation of her beliefs is critical theory and is the reason why the media constantly talk about racism and will even claim young children are racists even though many have no real concept of race as they are too young to understand. I have even read academic papers that have concluded that babies are racist. You cannot argue against any of this because it is not founding on logic or truth so it therefore will ignore such presentations of fact.

She is the embodiment of the like of ANTIFA, Marxist groups, PETA activists and so on. I am not saying she is aligned with any of those groups but her philosophy is in line with Postmodern Marxism which is a purely academic driven concept.

It is all by design and not an accident. I had a university professor in the UK tell me decades ago that he was very concerned with the new movements that were starting to take over academia.

@Morrodin-WH40K She is practicing Critical historiography which is what those groups I have listed are doing. Do you disagree with that and if so please explain?
7
Most of you do not understand what is at play here. Western culture is under attack. Once they can convince enough people that the west has no culture of history they then can get to build their own new culture.

@Morrodin-WH40K It is not a big conspiracy it is a very small academic movement. Critical historiography is what this lady is presenting and it comes from Marxist Critical Theory that now dominates the social sciences. Critical historiography looks to examine and rewrite history on the basis of today's political ideology. An example of this would be slavery is really bad so therefore we must examine and restructure history on the basis of that lens. I know this is all new to you because nobody has every explained or discussed this with you on any level.

That all comes from Critical Theory that tries to present the world as have and have nots.

This is how Marxism works. It singles out individual aspects of culture and goes after them. Most people are simply not aware it is even happening. Currently right now there is claims that Vikings were not a Northern European ethnic group but were in fact a diverse group of different races. There is recent claims that Celtic Britons travelled to Iceland and were there culturally before Vikings even though there is zero evidence that this is the case. All of this about creating confusion to the point that the west will have no identity. Think of what is accepted today in culture would have considered crazy 15 years ago. What this lady is proposing will be considered normal in Western culture in 15 years time and anybody that challenges it will be considered a denier.

All of this comes from Marxism and the Critical historiography school that tries to state that history cannot be taken as fact and must be treated as interpretation. That means history must be viewed through sexism, race, cultural ideologies and so on. Ego-histories is beginning to dominate the very soul of history.
4
Sorry but you are practising the same ideology that she is called Critical historiography. Making such assertions that America as a culture has something to do with revisionism. America did not create the modern movement of revisionism that comes from the Frankfurt school and the University of Paris.
3
That is how some like me reacts to global warming being pushed by the exact same ideological positions.
2
@johnwick-dz7qo "history shouldn't be taken as clean and cut fact" So you do not think the Roman Empire existed?
2
It is called critical history and is from the same ideology as critical theory.

@backintimealwyn5736 Marxism has take over the social sciences and we are now starting to see that take over the field of history.
1
@johnmarengo3988 Marxist critical theory has most certainly taken over history and the social sciences.

@Morrodin-WH40K It is not disinformation that the Nazi's were socialists. It is actually very well understood historically that they were socialists. Nazi means National Socialist German Workers' Party and their philosophy of common ownership is well established in that they declared that all excess profits were to be distributed via the people and that pension stipends were a people's right. Like most socialist regimes they can never actually attain the socialism that they desire and it normally falls a part. Putting that all aside it does not change the fact that Marxist Critical Theory has tried to redefine the culture of Europe. Institute for Social Research has tried to take the failed ideas of Marxism and apply them to the social sciences and dress it up as something else.

@backintimealwyn5736 What is different now is that it has managed to penetrate all aspects of society such as education, media and organisations. In the past it was just an academic practice that stayed in its own lane and was very theoretical. It has now become framework and why you will hear a 21 year old airhead talking about things in such an arcane academic manner.
1
That is how Marxists have done so much damage to society. They have convinced large numbers of people that carbon a natural by-product of nature is toxic and to cure that toxin they must levy more taxes.

Absurd? Her philosophy is the basis of modern academia, politics and media. Things have got so bad now that ideas like the Allies in WW2 were as bad as the Axis is not even challenged by the media. Yet that exact same media will call anybody a fascist who dares to challenge the accept crazy theories. Famously a women got on American tv and claimed that the amount of money that Bloomberg spent on his campaign which was $500 million if spent on the people would give each American $1 million. And not once did the media challenge that crazy over the top claim by a journalist. None of this is really about stupidity but is about how far they can push their crazy policies. If you to me had of said 10 years ago that governments would mandate that citizens would have to wear surgical masks to try and stop a virus that is 50nm in scale I would have thought you would be crazy.

None of this has anything to do with the US education system. It is present in every western countries education and cannot be claimed to be American. People that make these sorts of claims are as bad as the women in this video.

The sad part is those people have such power today and have a large megaphone of the media. They are even in management positions of authority in social media companies and have panels called fact checkers.

No. Many in Rome admired Greece but did not seek to replicate it. Even though Rome most certainly has its basis in Greek culture.
1
People assume they just watched what the Greeks did with gods and just picked up a guide book and applied the methods. Those gods, religions and spiritual meanings were all derived through the human experience of the world. When the likes of Plato and Aristotle applied their ideas to the world they had various frameworks to build upon. Inheriting something is not the same as adapting it.

Critical historiography does not deal with facts. It is based on upon Marxist ideologies that are now dominating everything.
