I am simply not buying the whole feel of the game nonsense through simple indications. The idea that a grandmaster can somehow be directed to a more favorable game direction is silly at best. There is just too many variables at play.

It is nonsense at best. The hierarchical thinking required for chess simply cannot be directed by a simple game direction. Either the game is being directly controlled by the ai through the player or the player is actually involved completely.

I am not buying it.

I personally think it would be extremely difficult to actually cheat. It is possible that a code could be learned for every piece on the board and then a code for the positions but try to implement that during a game would be extremely complex.

It is complete and pure nonsense that a grandmaster could have their game improved by a simple set of directions. To admit that would be to say that intelligence amplification is already occurring.

Bridge is a different type of game and can have cheating. For a high level chess player there is simply no known mechanism for cheating. What people are claiming here is that the game variations of chess somehow have been completely modelled and is used to amplify human intelligence. I have no doubt that technology will advance in that realm but not today.
