  1. But was the bear that was used against the lion an aggressive individual animal and was the lion equally as aggressive. A lion that is not into the fight simply is not a good choice against a bear that is super aggressive.

  3. To really test all of this out you would need to test it out by having animals that are the most aggressive and have a proven track record of fighting meaning they are not going to just posture and then back away when they should be attacking. It would be a very cruel experimentation though.

  4. The problem with selecting random animals is down to how much of a fighter they really are. Some individual bears are very aggressive while others are not so much. Applies to the other animals as well.

  5. It really depends on how aggressive the individual animal is. You could have a bear with moderate levels of aggression go up against a small house cat that is ultra aggressive and the bear will just run away. I suppose if you were to select the most aggressive individual animals for comparison meaning each animal is all in for the fight.
