+BOONIQUE In America the average worker pays 12% tax that same work in Europe would pay 40%. Now there is the American dream for you.

+Eonkuja That is truly dreadful that you have to pay such high taxes in the Netherlands and then have to pay for insurance by force of the law. Median income in the US is $65,000 which would be taxed at 12% in the Netherlands that same income would be taxed at 38% which is three times higher. That is just truly terrible and I do feel sorry for you.

@dredddie State tax does not apply to every state. There are no such options in the Netherlands. Can you also explain how the 41% tax that is paid in the Netherlands actually pays for healthcare since there is mandatory health insurance in the Netherlands?
3
@sammcdonaldsilsby2138 People in the Netherlands have to give away those thousands of dollars as well because they are force by law to pay the insurance.
2
@dredddie So you think paying 4 times as much tax and then an insurance on top of that some how makes it cheaper than the US? That is some strange logic you have there.
2
@DVZM. You are lower in Brain Cells but let me explain more simply. American workers are wealthier than European workers. By a considerable margin.
2
@metalvideos1961 America has a far lower taxation system than the likes of Germany. $65,000 income in the US will be in the 12% rate and in Germany it would be at 42% which is 3.5 times higher. America is a far better economy for the working class. Cost of living are lower, incomes are higher and tax rates are lower. "IT IS THE BEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. full stop in very large letters.
2
@mindrolling24 America has the biggest economy in the world. It created the modern world including the computers, internet and youtube that you are using. American industry has the highest output in the world hence why America won WW2 and landed on the moon. Working class in America have a tax rate of about 12% while the likes of Germany taxes working class at about 42%. Cars are half the price in America as they are in Europe and that even includes European and Japanese cars in America. A working class family in America has a far higher standard of living. Just name another country that is better.
2
@queeng508 The average median income in the US is $60,000 and at that level the taxes are at about 15%. In any European country those taxes would be at about 40%. Who are you trying kid in all of this.
2
@Bilal El-Baher Canada does not have private hospitals only long lines in public hospitals.
2
@nicolaid.1809 The extra wealth in the US would allow a person fantastic physio care to recover from injury. The median average retiree in America has higher income than the median average worker in Europe. Only with the American dream does that happen.
2
@RedbadvanRijn-ft3vv Absolutely very happy. And so are working American families who have far more money and wealth. The median retired income in America is higher than the median salary in European countries. That is fantastic.

@tramanhdo5948 US insurance can be claimed against tax as well. But we are not talking about ta rebate.
1
@DVZM. Average house price in Switzerland are $1 million in US $200,000. The US in relation to cost of living has a higher standard of living. In Switzerland income tax is higher and health insurance is mandatory. Explain how that is a better deal?
1
@messi9991 US median income of $60,000 so standards are really high. Median retirement fund is 1.5 million in the US.
1
@leoluna319 Taxes are far lower in the US so people have more money for insurance.
1
@mattiabrandinelli3678 The US cost is the real market cost. Paying 6 times as much taxes in Europe does not make healthcare cheaper.
1
@109joiner You are glad to pay more taxes for what exactly?
1
NotAsStup1dAsYouR All the goods that China makes does not belong to them. They are just the factory workers that produce the goods.
1
@Bilal El-Baher There are no private hospitals in Canada.

@MrJoseluis63 Median income in US $60,000 tell me a country with a higher median income?
