  1. Ireland is wealthier today because it abandoned the idea of government socialism and adapted free market thinking but it has a welfare state mentality. And slowly that welfare state is eating up all of the great market gains Ireland achieved.

  2.  @mesleyraves9983  The Tsar was not a weapon it was an industrial scale nuclear reaction that was to big to be deployed as a weapon. The US had similar styled reactions and they are industrial scale construction operations that take up to a year to build on a site. They have to be built in very remote places because of the risks that come with the construction phase. The USSR tried to pretend that they built it on a train and transported it out but no body believes that to be the case. A 100 mega ton missile is a fantasy and nothing more than propaganda as is a submarine.

  7.  @pizzapizza1966  A 100 megaton system it self would be larger than the actual largest class submarines. Then there is the problem that the body of water would absorb most of the blast wave. The US realized 60 years ago that large scale megaton systems were useless as they were impossible to deliver. Even if there was some magical means of getting to hit the US coastline with those massive warheads they would have no impact to inland areas. You may kill a lot close by fish.
