She can be defeating by being in a good film.

As a man I will speak for my wife and say it is stupid. I my wife loves when I speak for her and make decisions for her.

I actually paid to go and see Ghostbusters at the cinema with my wife and children. We were all mentally stunted because of it. My daughters choice of films are dreadful but thank goodness they are learning.

The director has no control of these projects. Many of them have been fired for trying to make a movie. Some directors reputations have been destroyed by this. David Fincher's reputation was destroyed by Alien 3 and he had no control over any of the process on tha film.

There was no such thing as promiscuous women in the 1980s.

She sat out WW2 with 80 million deaths, sat out communist ethnic cleansing with caused over 150 million deaths and she allowed the communists to gain nuclear weapons that they used to threaten the world with.

Michael Bay's transformer movies make far more sense and they tend not to be pretentious either.
3
@Espy The directors are not incharge of the films. They are just glorified camera supervisors. They have absolutely no decision making in the films. Many of them are fired and they are sidelined after the shooting takes place. I have spoken to several directors of modern corporate studio films and they hate the process but it is the only gig in town.
3
They are already claiming it is a massive success but in reality the studio's cannot hide their financial performance. Next year there finances will not look good.

None of these directors are really in charge of the productions. The next batman film is going to be terrible at best. There are already rumours about the production. All of this is a race to the bottom.
2
It has nothing to do with feminism and has everything to do with films pushing political ideologies. Can you imagine what the new Batman film is going to be like there are rumours floating around about it.
2
No. What the hell are you talking about. On a side note it was an interpretation of lesbian dance theory.
2
I bet you Indiana has a daughter who will take over from him. She maybe a lesbian interracial feminist archaeologist who knows nothing about history. Spielberg will not care as long as making the film secures him finance for his next film which will be probably about the republican party being evil.
2
Your nothing is thinking too much on entertainment content that is braindead.
2
Spy kids made sense and children liked it.
2
At least with Batman Returns it did not have a bad overall movie approach. It made sense.
2
The Joker movie was terrible. It was really depressing and extremely dark and not entertaining at all. It was like watching an art house movie late in the night expecting it to be raunchy and it is not.

The problem with alternative times lines is most film audience will not understand timelines and why should they as they are not going to be sitting around thinking about it.
1
Or that she could sit back and watch the horrors of WW2 being played out, ethnic cleansing in Communist China that killed over 100 million people. What sort of a moral compass has she?
1
The first movie was terrible at best. I must admit Wonder Woman's hair is beautiful.
1
@darcezillious You are assuming that the directors have complete control of these films and can actually make creative decisions. For example do the directors have decision over casting.
1
What happens is the movie gets written, shot, reshot and rewritten, edited shown and then starts the process all over again. Hence why none of the scenes make any sense. Some of those involved in doing the reshoots and edits have no idea what is going on with other acts in the films.
1
Do you really believe they spent $200 million on that film? In modern films the studio are lucky if they get to make $1 for every $8 of box office performance. Chinese market is probably like $1 for every $50 of box office. This is one of the reasons why there is a mad rush to move to streaming but they then have a problem that of struggling to make enough content to keep people paying the $10 per month. If you have Prime, Netflix, HBO, Apple and whatever else comes along you will soon be at nearly $100 per month.

@l3ucl1 I think Latinx means gender neutral latinos. I could be wrong though.

I took my whole family, Children's friends to the first Wonder Woman film and we all pigged out on lots of food. It cost me a lot more than $15 and it was one of the worse movies I have ever seen. I would not have minded if the children liked it.
1
Wonder woman has super powers so she is not a normal women.
1
I bet you the guy who Steve Trevor was in loved the experience but no man will ever admit to that.
1
Plus the 1980s were sexist.
1
The first movie was terrible as well.
1
No. They made the film realized it was crap started again and brought in different characters. Making their main villain as a means to attack Donald Trump is not exactly original either.
1
The reason why these films are so bad is down the fact that there are too many decisions that are being made too many people. Most of these modern films tend to have different directors at different stages. There was a particular movie that was made not that long ago by a very accomplished director, there was a trailer put out that really hyped the film the producers of the film then decided it was a good idea to get those that made the trailer to then come in and shoot more scenes and direct a new cut of the film. Guess what happened everybody hated the movie.
1
If you believe these modern films cost 200 million to make you are naive as hell. None of these films are anywhere near the budgets that are being marketed. Many of these films actually do not have the budget required to make the movies and there is always fights in the background trying to secure funding. The actors in many of these films get paid very little money for the amount of crap they have to put up with. Many actors end up in debt trying to live a PR lifestyle that they cannot actually afford. Special effects have become so efficient and widespread that their cost have massively come down to the point that cheap TV shows can now do it.
1
The director is not really in control of the movie.
1
@Mike Demirdjian I have not seen the movie but the trailer does not give the 1980s vibe. It is some sort of neon style they are presenting that looks more like 1970s glam not 1980s.
1
@talltroll7092 Men are the biggest market segment of comic books. It is men who buy comic books and read them. It is also the same with video games, science fiction tv shows and so on.

This movie proves that Hollywood is now more interested in making politics than actual entertainment. If Hollywood survives most of these films will be forgotten about.
