The oil companies in the US are now producing more gas than oil. It is this gas that will supply the power generation systems. Do not assume that the US energy companies are not in on this as well. Cleaner energy is as much in their interest as everybody else. Oil was cleaner than Coal. Gas is cleaner than oil and neclear/solar/wind/hydo are cleaner than gas. It is a progression and that is where the smart money is.
