  1. Don is not confident because he drinks. That is just pure nonsense. He is confident because he does not actually care about most of the things that shape other people. He does not care about money in the way other people does, he does not care what others think and above all he is willing to just try. Everybody knows a Don Draper. That does not mean he is a good person morality is something different.

  6. You need to build your self a foundation. There are different ways of doing that such as becoming an expert in a given field, training your body and become determined and focused. Military service can give young men that focus and discipline. One thing that is common with Alpha Males is their discipline.

  15.  @germanicelt  Maybe he is not a narcissist. The term gets thrown around a lot. So people misuse the term. He maybe an obsessive person. And some of his behaviors might actually be more recent than you can imagine. Before they may have just been attraction but may have developed to something stronger. Manipulation is not the sign of a narcissist. It can indicate other behaviors or conditions.

Most people that have anxiety have a poor character foundation to start with. Ironically for many of those people it is the main weakness that holds the rest of them back.

  19. I knew a girl at college that was stunningly beautiful. She was the centre of attention when she entered a room. She seemed really nice at first. I remember another girl telling me that she knew her from their home town and that she was not a nice person. I just could not see it myself though. It took me about a year to see it but because of my limited interactions with her but when I ended up in college classes with her and in project groups and hanged around with her through other people I slowly realized that she was not that intelligent and later I started to realize that she had a very high opinion of herself. It is only when you start to see the thoroughly horrible side that you realize she was a narcissist. She is a cat lady today with all her pictures up on facebook with lots of silly people telling her how stunning she looks. Even though she is in her forties you would think she was in her twenties. If only people knew what she was like. She went through a whole phase of multiple men in her life and then moved to a lesbian phase. Everything she did seemed like a trend to her.

  30. Women can never be an Alpha. Their roles are different. Women need to focus on getting people to like them. This can be done via their looks. Staying in good shape and having a friendly personality will do this. Women that are not friendly tend to be disliked more than men. Friendly outgoing women tend to be most liked by both men and women alike. Building that foundation for a women is much easier than it is for a man.

They need all of those things to stand in front of a camera so that millions can watch them or appear to an audience for entertainment. They are there to entertain people and not to be soft and weak that is their bread and butter.
