  1. I routinely take an F-150 into the rough. I could never imagine taking a VW glorified van into the wild.

  2. It may not be staged but it may be badly organised. But nobody buys a pickup for 0-60 tests. Both Toyota and Ford have long histories of producing genuine off road pickups. Would you trust any of the rest off road.

  4. They are a beast off road with no mods needed for hardcore off road. And like the Toyota Hilux they are tried and tested off road with a proud multi decade history. The other vehicles are really not up to the task and have no history meaning they will be great on a test track but in off road conditions they are unknown.

  5. F150 is massive a full sized truck those other vehicles are much smaller and none of them are designed for racing and should be used off road. Now which of those would you trust off road the most.

  6. They are not existent in the UK or Europe. That model was probably the only one they could get hold of. But it did really well in a drag race against much lighter vehicles. The F150 weighs about 2000 pounds more.

  7. F150 is amazing off road and has a far greater load capacity for working men. VW Amarok would not drink beer as it is scared of gluten.

  8. That is a base F-150 Raptor. In America they are 10 a penny. You will see them everywhere as they are cheap. An X-Nissan is not as nice to drive as the F-150.

  10. They would get trashed in a 0-60 race but let us be honest nobody buys them for racing like that. Both Ford and Toyota have a long history of producing reliable off road trucks/pickups. The other companies are really just producing fancy urban trucks which are difficult to know their ability.
