@KK001 The V8 RS5 is not a lightweight sports car. So no matter what weight savings you are trying to gain with the V6 are nonsensical. The RS5 is not a Lotus with a V6 engine it is a super coupe which makes it firmly a GT car. The V8 in the RS5 sounded and felt wonderful to drive and I will never get a V6 RS5.

@f4tpie Stinger is a genuine V8 but it is a performance sports car more like the Audi R8.

@unlaboredflawlessness3 Do not keep it in a garage get out and drive it. As long as you keep it well maintained and clean the car will last. You need to enjoy it and not worry about worth because you will never know what it is worth in the future.

V6 is not as nice to drive as a V8 in a super coupe car. The V6 engine would be great for lightweight sports cars but not for the RS5.

@Dillon000 I meant to say a Corvette Stingray and not a Stinger and you are correct I have no idea what a a Stinger is and never will.

@dunno5424 No it is not. It makes no sense to have a V6 in a super coupe car as it is not a lightweight sports car. A Porsche of a Lotus will maul that V6 RS5 on a track. If Audi want a lightweight sports car then the RS5 is not that.

Audi have sacrificed character for performance. Audi already has the R8 for a performance car so why they felt the need to get rid of the V8 RS5 is beyond foolish. I was a massive fan of the V8 RS5 and now will never buy a V6 RS5. Never.
