The national reserve is suppose to be used for an actual war involving the US not to use for economic reasons.

It is pure madness. The only think in regards to that would be the US could unleash a tsunami of oil during major war with the US industrial engine being put to full usage. While it is silly to tap into that reserve it is not doom and gloom necessarily.

@Lena Siegel The US is still the world's largest manufacturing economy. China's plastic junk manufacturing does not count.

@voiceofreason7558 The US has the knowhow, technical systems and a workforce. None of that is the issue it is the desire to use it that is the problem. Not for a second do I believe that Biden actually cares about the green new deal and just wants to appease his party base. If a major war was to break that would be the desire to get the whole system working again to its full potential.
