  1. No. Chips have nothing to do with it. Taiwan will be a means for China to dominate the pacific region. If the west and asian allies cannot defend Taiwan it will mean nowhere is safe.

  3.  @rpmana3686  China's economy is failing and for the CCP to stay in power they need to invade Taiwan. Once war starts it will mean that China can focus on that rather than their economic failure.
