  1. On a personal level she may not actually be stupid. When a Camera is in her face it could be an entirely different subject. George Bush Jr was not good in front of people but that does not mean he was actually stupid.

  2. She may not have broke the law but it is not going to look good political. The problem with all of this is that Conservatives have still not figured out that none of this matters as it is all about culture and pop culture. Conservatives could win this politically but still not have any real impact on the public culture.
