Taiwan has over 200 fighter jets and one of the world's most advanced air defence systems. And a fully operational Navy that could easily repel Chinese invasion. If China is stupid enough to try and invade they will be sent back with their tails between their legs.

@bourjoism3917 China right now is not ready for a major war. They will pick on smaller countries without the ability to defend. China has a long term game and intends to stick to that game. The only country right now that could invade Taiwan would be the US.

@osric1730 China does not have the ability to deal with Taiwan or Japan. It likes to act like it could and stupid DoD reports written by academics that probably deep down would side with China simply means nothing. How can China carry out a full scale invasion of Taiwan?

@osric1730 The russias for decades are suppose to have craft that are better than the US craft. It is easy to produced developments and claim they are better. It is an entirely different proposition to produce a fleet scale system that includes production, parts, maintenance, serviceability and then the consistency to make all of that line up. The US for the last 3 decades has been spending 100 billion per year on weapons development and China has not. A military is the mirror of its industry which means China cannot develop its own platforms. Chinese industry is made up of German, US and Swiss instruments because they do not have the ability to produce such accurate systems. I fully understand that you have never heard of any of this before. And here is a warning India have China in their crosshairs and looking for the tiniest excuse to unleash. China has angered far too many nations at this point.
