  2. And the west told Russia that it would not tolerate its mass murdering campaigns and moves towards such a regime. The ball is plainly in Russia court and if it decides to try and go to war with west it will find out how wealthy and power the west really is. China thinks because it makes lots of plastic toys that it is powerful. And it thinks it glorified fishing fleet will be able to engage in naval warfare.

  4. I would say some people need to get a grip and stop making excuses for China and Russia at this point. Russia might have legitimate reasons for action against Ukraine but that does not mean it would be a good thing to happen. The west is getting weak again and may allow a new tyranny to rise again like it did in WW2.

  7. That is the price Russia has to accept for its past sins and behaviors. Russia had a chance for the last 30 years to prove it has changed and is nothing like the USSR. The west would not care about Russia getting wealthy and powerful but it does care how Russia behaves. China is also on watch and needs to be careful. If the west pulls the economic plug both countries will collapse.

  8. Russia does not have enough nuclear weapons for full nuclear exchange. China simply is not a nuclear power at all. The vast majority of coldwar era nuclear weapons are not operational and could only become so if major war was to start and the countries in question started programs of development.
