  4.  @mattyoz0  V8 engines are more common in Australian car culture than they are in british car culture hence why you will find more power engines in Australian cars. The only V8 engines you will find in British cars are in the $200,000 range of cars.

  6. m340i is not a hot hatch and should not be compared on any level. The Golf R is a track level car and a road car as well. The new Golf R is not a normal car and is the top level golf performance car.

  8. Some of you are truly clueless and have your head buried in the sand. This is the new market place. This is exactly what a hot hatch of that class costs. It is the same price as an AMG A, BMW M2 and VW Golf R and do not start some nonsense about them being better. People in Europe seem to want to pay higher prices for things, They want higher gas prices, higher property costs, higher taxes and above all they want daddy government to tuck them into bed every night. DO not feel alone in this because the UK and US is having a similar mindset but may reject it.

  10. You do not buy those cars for track times. You buy the for the style of sports car that you want. Some want a hot hatch others want a GT coupe car. The BMW has a higher level of finish and looks nicer but you will pay for that.
