That is pure nonsense. Germany started WW1 and when it surrender it did so to save its self. Britain, France and America could have decided to conquer Germany and break it up into a thousand little pieces. The Treaty of Versailles was suppose to punish Germany so that they would not do it again only no body understood that a little socialist with a mustache would come along and start another war.

Every country that was inhabited by the British were raised to the modern world. Some today are still lagging behind.

The vast majority of Americans who vote and that includes democrats still believe in the American system. Even criminals on the streets realize that a police force is still needed even though there a very small minority of people that run media try to pretend otherwise. What you are seeing now has already happened before in the late 1960s into the 1970s and was the reason that Reagan ran for president and won in an overwhelming election twice. Clinton was a response to the boring Bush and did a reasonable job. We are in the middle of a cycle but most Americans will reject that.

@Z0M81ERANGER Germany was running a welfare state in that era that it had no financial right to be running, starting a war and then somehow blaming people when it could not meet all its obligations and rather than making cuts decided to actually print money. The Treaty of Versailles had absolutely no bearing on the rise of Hitler and it socialist movement. There was a social rise in several other countries as well. I think people want a simple reason they can point to such as the treaty to explain what happened. Spain had a brutal civil war between Fascist socialists and Communists socialists. Italy had the rise of the Fascists and there was turmoil all over europe. Austrain loved it when the Nazi's rolled in until they realized how crazy everything was going to get. I am afraid the culture of Europe was a tinder box and that WW2 was always going to happy no matter what.

It depends on the school and if they were really trying to abuse the children that attended. SO it really depends on what school you attend. Others who went to catholic school were taught it was the Romans who crucified Jesus not the jews. How do you like those clean eggs.

Yes they did develop science it is called philosophy. It is the very framework of experimentation and testing. After the collapse of the classical world it took several centuries to get back to that level of inquiry again.

Nazi Germany did not invade Poland with Russia. Russia decided they did not want to miss out on anything.
