They did not win anything they just were not punished. That is a difference.

Making one or two financial irregularities is one thing but to do it for several seasons and then hide it.

The EPL has the ability to withdraw membership of the EPL. The FA has the ability to withdraw membership from the English league and that would men a team would have to reapply to enter again and start at the very bottom. Another question which nobody seems to be asking with all of this was taxation properly applied in this situation?

@Walkalonghere FFP allows a club to build a stadium through investment, build a youth development system and do a lot of other good stuff. When money is correctly applied there is no issue. Newcastle if they are wise would focus on those things and adapting a stylish form of football to the club. People would admire that.

Why a salary cap? Certain clubs have earned the right through the generations to pay players what they are capable of paying. What if there is a salary cap and then certain clubs start trying to find ways to cheat that?

EPL and FA has to really show up for this or they will look really bad.
