  3.  @damifash758  Need I remind you this is 2021 and Messi has not had an influential season in a long time. Messi has been nowhere near the level of his previous best nor even at the level of other top players today. None of this is about the finish of the club but the actual ability and performance of the player who gets the award. Players in the past have got awards without actually winning anything.
