Comments by "bighand69" (@bighands69) on "What makes Ralf Rangnick qualified for the Manchester United job?" video.
Thomas Tuchel before he joined PSG had did about similar things to Rangnick at management level in that he just won cup competitions. Ralf Rangnick has never really been interested in long term football management and prefers technical football management such as coaching and methodology. If Rangnick can get Utd to play the same type of football as the other clubs with players that Utd produce and buy then he may produce a very dominant team. No utd fan really believes that Utd will win the EPL or champions league this season but they want the club to move in the right direction.

Man utd are innovative but it is not on the surface. Utd for years have put a lot of emphasis on technical academy players hence why the likes of McTominay, Greenwood and Rashford came through the club and more will continue. What has happened to utd happens to every top team at some point. There is always a downward spiral in the club at first team level. Real Madrid and Barcelona are in that right now but the difference with them is they have enormous debt levels and cannot sign players. Man Utd have a revenue of about $600 to $700 million per year with debts about £350 million.

@mihirvelapure2258 I think that innovation is nonsense that you referring to. Real won 3 champions leagues in a row without any sort of innovation other than a good coach and good players. Many City became a force because they spent over a billion and brought in the best coaches and built a squad from the get go. Utd on the other hand have been using a dribs and drabs approach to bring in players. After Ferguson left Utd had to replace several top quality players and that never happened.

You are talking crap about Steve Bruce being an improvement over Ole. When Ole took over the team had no defensive line at all, no attacking line and a centre forward that wanted to leave the club and was in the midst of a depression. Ole left the job with a team that could actually play attacking football but was also flawed so stop talking crap and acting as if Ole was responsible for the clubs demise. Ole has been part of the progression of the first team and now hopefully Rangnick can make the next step up to playing better football. Ole should have been replaced last summer.

I do not buy into the idea that the Utd club needs restructuring. It most certainly needs a restructuring at first team coaching level but not at the club level. Man Utd have been profitable even during he shut down and they have always given the managers and coaches funds.

If he is good enough to be the manager for 4 months then give him a few seasons to implement his football at the first team level and at the club at large. Utd made a mistake of not being able to integrate the ferguson system throughout the clubs DNA.

I do not think he involves himself in the football side at all. Ole brought him in a few times to liven things up but that was about it.

Many people are watching the developments of certain European teams including the Red Bull clubs.
