It is hard to believe that a computer was once the size of a building but today it is smaller than a penny and at some point will be the size of a biological cell.

They are meant to driven as well.

@AnthonyAnthony48 The figure of 1.7 trillion is not the actual cost of the aircraft. It is the total generated operational cost which also includes manufacturing for the thousands they will be selling as well. Over the aircrafts 50 year life half that $1.7 trillion will be sales. So that $700 billion in 50 years time will be $110 billion. That is nothing if it gives the US the edge in air warfare.
6
@mogh2603 In that time the US will have spent over $100 trillion on the welfare state.
5
@trashpanda314 Wait a minute you were airborne and want to talk down Cav Scouts. You need to be standard infantry to do that. Cav scouts are most certainly required to be fit and your claim that they do not is just absurd.

Rolex are constantly investing in their watches and that investment goes into quality such as keeping the watches completely inhouse. Rolex even have their own foundry and produces its own unique steel that no other brand can say it does. Rolex also are unique in that they produce watches that have screw down crowns but are also thin meaning they can double as a dress watch.

Battleship obsolete? What a load of nonsense.

Aurora is a budgetary title nothing else. It is unlikely to have been an aircraft but a collection of research projects.

+Bloodgod40 You are correct the SR71 was not released to the public until 20 years after its development. The SR2 is different in that it is intended to be a replacement for the SR71 and is not intended to be some super secret project. I would say there are probably things that the US military has that are similar to the SR71 in that they have not been released to the public yet.

My grandfather gave me his post WW2 Rolex watch and I still wear it today.
3
@AJ-et3vf US military easily won the wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq. It was that obvious did you some think they lost.

Seiko watches are not as comfortable nor do they have screw down crowns to make them into a dive watch. Rolex are a unique watch in that they can do almost anything and be worn on almost any occasion. Grand Seiko watches are really well made, look fantastic and are reliable but they are not a do anything watch. There simply are no other options on the market place to Rolex.

@libertas-goddessofliberty5664 The weapons in Ukraine have already been tested and are fully understood.
2
@mopslikvonstein No body cares what you think because you will not be sitting in the car with them.
2
@latenightthinker4737 That makes no sense. Try again.
2
This article is nonsense.

Rolex keeps everything in house meaning they keep their quality. Keeping in house is very expensive an the only other watches that are purely in house cost nearly twice what Rolex do. Also Rolex watches are unique in that they are nearly all screw down crowns meaning they could be used for diving as well.

Don Harrold You do not think a completely in house made watch, every watch in the range has a screw down crown and every watch made to the same standard does not affect price? Seriously do you really believe that.
1
+Don Harrold I have been polite to you so far so I doubt the gloves are going to have to come off. What are you actually talking about. Timex does not produce in house watches never mind everyone of their watches having a screw down crown. So I will ask you the question again and I am sure you will avoided it like the first time "You do not think a completely in house made watch, every watch in the range has a screw down crown and every watch made to the same standard does not affect price?" Now answer the question entirely and do not just focus on screwdown crowns on its own.
1
+Don Harrold I will ask again in a more compact fashion do you think producing in house made watches with screw down crowns is not going to raise the price? And if you answer is no can you provide another brand that produces in house made watches with a screw down crown on their entire watch range.
1
@NZobservatory Russia has beens studying electronics for the last 60 years but still cannot get it done.
1
WW3 is coming be prepared.
1
@waszkreslem9306 The watches you named are all nice. But they are not completely in house, They are not offering screw down crowns with every watch and they are not as a whole as tough as Rolex watches.
1
Britain is not serious about its own defence and relies upon American to do everything for it.
1
The SR-72 is not going to show up in a big way on the national credit card. What does show up in a big way is the welfare expenditure that is now about 2 trillion per year.
1
+RF The purpose of such a craft would be to ensure that it cannot be shot down. The SR 71 could not be shot down so I would assume it is the same for this project. Radar system might not actually be capable of picking it up if it has some special stealth capabilities but if somehow it is detected getting a missile up there to intercept it would be exceptional complex. During the 60s,70s and 80s the Russians could do nothing about the SR-71 it was like a ghost to them and they were not even sure it was real.
1
Patek are about 3 times as expensive as Rolex and also they produce a different class of watch.
1
It does not take into account the revenue generated by sales.
1
The tax plan is not aimed at single people it is aimed at household income. People who live on their own with a cat are going to see very little. The biggest group will be those earning between 90,000 to 100,000 as a household.
1
His point was that it is completely different and it scared him.
1
@ozzygrunt4812 US Cav scouts may be required to go very light as their movement maybe in the very high range especially if they are trying to keep ahead of mechanised patrols. It could involve a very intense exercise with an exact 72 hour performance and they may have very specific movements to perform. Special operations can perform the task as well but in a large scale military operation it would be impossible to use special ops in such a fashion.

At last you have figured it out. The GOP has done this on purpose. Most houses in California are above $500,000 in value so they will not be able to claim deductions so that means more taxes at both the state and federal level for those in California. You are probably one of the very few that has figured this out early most others in California are in for a rude awaken very very soon. So it will be interest to see if they still vote democrat who want higher taxes again. The GOP know California will never vote republican so they are doing this to see if they can clear the state and switch many over to a low california republican tax plan.
1
No but it will enable the US military to do fly overs and nobody could do anything about it.
1
Fascists' are European not America.
1
Aurora was probably not an aircraft program but was more than likely something else like engineering designs that went into aviation or some support system. Aurora was only a few billion dollars when these programs cost about hundred billion. Think about it the starwars project cost nearly 1.5 trillion and that is almost 30 years ago. Could you imagine the technology that was developed in that.
1
It depends on operational needs.
1
You are confusing the Department of the air force with the actual air force. The Marines come under the department of the navy but are still considered a branch. Space force is most certainly a branch
1
Who are you talking about?
1
The aircraft is needed and that is the reason why it is being developed.
1
While digital has ease of use and a take anywhere attitude it does not have the quality levels of film and is very expensive to try and produce the quality levels of film.
