It is not a PC exclusive it is just that they do not care about consoles. Exclusive means there is normally an agreement in place.

It does not even have to be cell phones. It could be used for sports, engineering or flying. The applications and details are endless. And when Ai is layered on top of AR it will mean that the human experience will change very very rapidly.

She did a good job with the interview and seem genuinely interested in asking him questions. If it was mainstream media they would have been asking him stupid questions.

sadida1702 1080P and they have reduced motion blur and lag. When these systems become 4k and 8k then they will blur the lines with reality especially when CGI becomes almost photo realistic.

+David Antoni It depends on how they are networked. If they are closed looped with certain open access features. You could have a security system that allows outbound signals but does not allow inbound.

@gorgu-nj6uj If you know anything about mechanical objects out in the real world you would they need repair.

It is best that they release a stable balanced product. The development kit would not really be at consumer level. I am not even sure that the 1080p version will be good enough either.

It is an accessory for the phone like a head phones.

They have had lots of government subsidies and are not at this point self sustainable and the same goes for Tesla. Now in saying all of that SpaceX has achieved all of this for about 1 billion dollars which is incredible considering that Nasa's yearly budget is nearly 20 billion (not doing enough space exploration).

It is a horrible idea.

It is not the same as the virtual boy. Computation and visual interfaces have now advanced to the point that virtual reality will some become entertainment. The virtual boy was terrible for many reasons. Have you tried a modern VR head set. I have seen OLED headsets for medical research that are amazing and this type of technology will be arriving the home in the next 8 years.

The real trick will be when it starts to present you environmental data in real time. People may wear them not to be on the internet but to have information presented to them in real time.
1
Nah they will be a sack of dirt.

Sony would be better off making good audio and home entertainment equipment. They have failed at home computing and will fail at this as well.
1
It will be allot sooner than that.

Those that you see in videos getting kicked are not robots they are remote control devices.

Both those companies are stupid for getting involved in cars. If they want to develop entertainment systems for the car go ahead but there are perils to doing that for a brands image. Apple has a massive problem on the horizon.

Proximity sensors could mean once they are away from the US it will stop working. Or bio sensors that can pick up when another user is on them and lock it out.

It is a Honda/Sony. I think it is terrible for Sony to be going down that road.
1
It is all nonsense. Musk is an innovator that has built tesla from the ground up but that does not mean Sony can do the same thing. It is a Honda/Sony project but lets not pretend that it will be something that sets the market alight.

Apple are good at developing products out of technology it what they specialize in they have not really invented anything. But they propelled MP3 and smart phone why they are so so to develop a tv is beyond me. People are crying out for one even if they do not know it.
1
It depends on what it is used for.
