  1. The Javelin is a much better system in terms of its effects at range and has a much more sophisticated guidance system which makes it viable against aircraft. With that it is much more expensive and exotic. NLAWs are great for dealing with armoured vehicles that are at range. An AT4 is a fantastic weapon for close range vehicle interaction and also for dealing with a building when it is a simple point and fire event.

  2. An AT4 can still take out a modern heavy armoured tank when deployed to the right teams that know what they are doing. A fast moving commando team that has out flanked enemy lines can do extreme damage with an AT4 against tanks especially if there is multiple fire squads.

  3. The Javelin is the most advanced system and has a far more powerful armament. The AT4 is the most low tech and is used for close quarters combat against vehicles or buildings. The NLAW is somewhere between the Javelin and AT4 in that it is has more technological guidance than a basic AT4 but is not as sophisticated as a Javelin. A Javelin can lock onto aircraft at lower altitudes and be perfect for dealing with helicopters. They are all fantastic and offer different options.

  4. Where Javelins really come into their own is hitting with accuracy at range. So when going up against heavy tanks at range they can be devastating but they can also be used against aircraft that are low engagement altitudes. A stinger would be needed for a real effect anti air system.

  5. The NLAW is very effective at median ranges against tanks but it does have a accuracy guidance system which means it has greater range than a AT4 but the NLAW is useless against aircraft unless they are in a vulnerable position such as landing or hovering within close range.

  6. They were too late of acting in terms of dealing with the invasion. The place should have been flooded long before the invasion with those systems. Unfortunately the west is too scared of offending Russia and now realize that it does not matter if they offend or not. Reality has come home.
