  2. @Queen Duncan Donut Of Scots The Queen is the head of state for the UK. The country is governed by the very aspects of crown law. Charles could decide not to take the crown but that will create a mass of complication that could create crisis. It is more complicated than you can imagine. And Charles like the Queen has very little say in the matter. The Queen her self did not even want the crown and the same was true of her father. Charles walks around today know that he has duties than cannot be ignored. His every word has interpretation. This by the way has nothing to do with him being a Royal. Do not confuse Royal family with the crown.
