  1. I suspect Taiwan will not attack Chinese coastal cities and will keep its armaments for dealing with Chinese air force and naval ships. Such an attack will produce devastating losses for Chinese forces.

  2. While China can hurt them in a technical economic sense they have little ability to do anything to them militarily. The British navy would wipe the floor with the Chinese Navy in open warfare. It would not even be a contest.

  4. China does not have much time it is already in the middle of a demographic collapse with its population numbers in the market driven consumer sector falling. China is about 50 million people short in its key demographic group to create economic growth.

  5. Hypersonic missiles are a myth. Neither Russia nor China has them. Firing missiles up into high altitude and then using the downwards trajectory to gain hypersonic speeds is not an actual hypersonic missile.

  11. Sinking an aircraft carrier in millions of square miles of ocean is not as easy as it sounds. Also do they think the US would just allow them to launch from a distance and sit there and do nothing.

  12. China cannot just invade Taiwan and get the semiconductor plants to start spitting out products. China could have all the equipment intact and still a decade later would not have them operational. Even if you take the production staff including engineerings and technicians who run the lines out of the equation the required components simply would not be there to enable the machines to run.

  13. If China attempts to go toe to toe with the US they would collapse within 6 months. There economy is so fragile that people do not even grasp how things are. China imports 85% of its food, energy, raw materials, industrial machines and pharmaceuticals. All it would take just to cause energy collapse is for one US carrier to blockade supplies coming from the middle east. I doubt any country in the middle east would defy the US in such an open war. Fighting dirty will not actually work when it comes to open kinetic naval warfare. The US would have the ability to penetrate 2/3 thirds of the way into Chinese mainland and there is nothing China could do to dislodge them.
