@Scott Porter The US has liberated Europe and stopped the communist who by the way killed over 100 million people. And yet all of you will pretend that none of this happened and will act like America is bad. Without America Europe today would be a Nazi super state.

@CianONeill22 The USSR would not have survived WW2 if the US had not of supplied the aid to build Russian factories. The Nazis had actually beaten the USSR and America came to their aid. The japanese would also have invaded the USSR if the US was not fighting them in the pacific. You can run around with your little fantasy about how the USSR beat the Nazi's. The US had to options with Japan invade which would mean the death of tens of millions of Japanese or use the Nuclear bomb to try and scare the Japanese into submission. Because of the atomic bomb being dropped on Japan hundreds of thousands of US service men's lives were spared but I guess you would have prefered the invasion of Japan.

@khaled00962 The US was about to invade Japan which would have meant massive bombing raids which would have probably killed million of Japanese. The US had two options dropping the atom bombs and hope that the Japanese surrender or a full scale invasion which would have cost hundreds of thousands of America lives and millions japanese.

Clinton was not that bad and is an easy target sometimes. Yes has done bad political things but so has everybody else.

That is why government is terrible at managing this. It is a collection of different ideologies all pulling in different directions and nothing really gets done.

@lewistaylor2858 The USSR was defeated their capital was overrun by the Nazis and it was American aid that was billions of dollars was given to the USSR that allowed them to build all that fancy weapons systems. I suppose for you it is a case of lever let history get in the way of ideology.

@Simon-nv5zj When the US joined the war the Nazi's had conquered Europe, UK was a wreck and the Nazis had marched right into the USSR and the Japanese had invaded the Asian parts of USSR. The Americans gave the USSR billions in aid are you saying that this did not happen.

@cheekyboy5000 Germany in WW2 invaded Russia. There was so much starvation in the USSR that the Americans had to send aid for Russia to build up its military.

@giteausuperstar I think you will have to learn again. Russia was invaded by Nazi Germany. It was so bad in Russia that people were boiling leather to eat it. And were eating grass. Nazi Germany conquered the whole of Europe and if not for the US it would still be Nazi Europe today.

@masselfur Yes it is 100% correct. The Russian air force was destroyed by the Nazi's in 24 hours. When the Russian military was defeated the US had to send the Russians aid and supplies. The US sent the Russians food, weapons, vehicles, industrial components,. The US in all sent Russia 14,000 aircraft, 500,000 land vehicles including nearly 30000 armoured vehicles, over several millions tons of food, several million tons of industrialized components. The US even built factories for the Russians such as Ford production plants to create tires and components for vehicles. The Russians did a great job in holding out against the Nazi onslaught which murdered some 15 million Russians but without the US Russia would have collapsed completely and would not have been able to counter the Nazi's without US supplies. You have to remember that the Reason Nazi Germany could not commit all its Troops to Russia was due to the fact the US fought and killed millions of Nazi Soldiers in western Europe and cut off Nazi oil supplies from the western front of the war. The US In all fought the war on three fronts Europe, North Africa and the pacific. The US broke the backs of the 1300 U-boats that were prowling the atlantic as well.

@masselfur My information is called history. Nazi Germany destroyed the Russian air force in about 3 days. In the first 24 hour period the Russians lost 3000 aircraft and the Germans lost 80 aircraft. The losses were so vast for the Russians that the US had to supply the Russians with 14,000 aircraft in WW2. This is all based on historical fact and is well known and documented for the period.

@Ingens_Scherz What happened was that Germany decided to take over Europe and then embedded their forces in Europe making it impossible for Britain to invade mainland Europe. But the reverse of that is true as well Nazi Germany was unable to invade the British isles and it was deadlocked. How that Deadlock was broken was the US involvement in the war. The US was fighting on three out of the four major fronts in ww2. Who are you saying got bankrupt?
