  1. You could buy an old 997 and rebuild it and end up with effectively a new car. Do this a few times and you probably will be selling them for a profit.

  2. Having 500hp in a Porsche is not comparable to 500hp in other cars. Even a 200hp Porsche will feel different from anything else out there. I would suggest that if you have 50K to spend buy a 997 for cheap and then put the remaining money into a rebuild and you effectively will end up with a brand new car. You need to go and drive A 911 to get a feel for them. They are very unique just like American muscle cars that are very hard to come by in Europe.

  4. 911's are have a very unique drive to them. How you could even compare a GT-R to a classic 911 just makes no sense at all. GT-R's are a playstation car that kids like and feel nothing like a Porsche to drive.

  5. The Singer is like a retro Porsche that is brought up to modern standards. An RUF is a sports car beast produced by the best of German engineering. There are just so many options out there. And on a budget you could buy a 997 and rebuild it for cheap and end up with a car that is like brand new.
