  3. US government has a credit line of about 200 trillion. Obviously at 200 trillion it would be complete bankruptcy. The US government could easily extend about 2 to 5 trillions of debt. Now that does not mean they should go out and create more trillions of debt so fast as it will have an effect on the value of the currency.
