  1. Some hippies were ultra violent because they were communists and seen everything as evil capitalism. Do not confuse people wearing bright clothing and liking drugs to to hardcore hippies. Hippies ranged from the likes of the communist terrorist organisations to Charles Manson. When people think of drugged up hippies they are think of the 1970s not the 1960s and are confusing the swinging sixties with hippy culture of the 1970s.

  2. Liberals and hippies are two entirely different groups. Most people who are labelled as liberals today are not liberal.
