Comments by "bighand69" (@bighands69) on "Joe Rogan - Tim Kennedy Says Waterboarding Isn't Torture" video.
@SovereignStatesman You are both talking crap at best. Kennedy is talking about pouring water onto the faces of murders so that they can find the other murders that are working with them. Much of this is happening in the field during warfare involving opponents that have given up their rights due to not fighting in military uniforms. During WW2 Nazi's that conducted esponiage operations out of uniforms were executed and waterboarded as well. It was never considered torture.

@John Huys That is one of the stupid statements I have ever read from a person that probably thinks they are smarter than what they are. Tim Kennedy knows exactly what is going on and fully understands the alternative to waterboarding. Those enemy combatants that are apprehended in the field are not in uniform so that means they are to be executed just like Nazis in WW2. Kennedy already knows this to be the case since he is a Non Commissioned officer in US Army Special forces.

Lucho Lavalle The Japanese empire had butchered millions of people in Asia and great pacific and were on a par with Nazis. Tell me would you feel sorry if a Nazis was killed.
6
@tttv687 It is war and they are not playing by the rules established. US forces would have the right to execute them in the field if they chose to do so. Instead they get information out of them and they are allowed to live and maybe even have a life again.

+MegaScumbucket People that kill children and innocent people out of uniform are scum and have always been executed.
4
They are not soldiers but are spies. In WW2 spies could be questioned using any mean necessary. They could be execute on sight without a trial and spies were not part of the geneva convention because they were not wearing a uniform. You just know the west is doomed when people are more worried about the welfare of terrorists on a battlefield.
3
Sleep deprivation and waterboarding are not torture. Not even close. Torture as it has always been seen is mutilation of the human body over an extended period of time. Not letting a person sleep and then sticking some water in their face is not torture. It is not nice to experience but so is getting tickled with a feather when you are tied down.
3
No body cares what commies think.
2
How any of you think terrorists on a battlefield getting captured and then water put in their face is torture is really really sad at best. When did people in the west start to worry about the feelings of enemies captured on the battlefield. I bet you are the same type of people that worried when US marines urinated on the bodies of dead taliban fighters.
2
Lucho Lavalle So why are you complaining about that happening to Japanese empire soldiers?
2
@Hedgebets100 Japan was specifically used as an example. I then asked if he would care if acts were carried out against Nazi to see if he really cared. Most of these people are a contradiction and really just want to attack the US who did not start WW2 or did not in any way commit mass genocide in WW2 which the Japanese did. The US did not start the Vietnam war but the Chinese communists who killed tens of millions in their own country did.
2
@yaboiyaboy9980 It is not torture and they are not covered by the rights allowed in the conventions. They can be interrogated as seen in the field including the use of water or whatever is needed. The alternative is execution is that what you want.
2
Pouring water into a terrorists face in war is not tourture. It is not even close.
1
Hormones can be released by just capturing them. Most of these people were captured on the battlefield and were acting as spies not uniformed soldiers. A little water or sleep deprivation is hardly torture. Next you will all be complaining if they started to tickle them with feathers.
1
Only liberal fools would love terrorists such as commies fools.
1
Small fry are you a marxist?
1
@smallfry9829 It was Marxist lead propeganda. Especial from those that despise the US and would actively try to mislead. The stories came from the media that protected Marxist agenda. They took bad things and spun it into a narrative to support their attack.
1
People a special forces operator is not going to give up information because water is being poured in his face. He would have faced things like that many times during his training. If would be different if the body is actually being mutilated but it is not. No psychological tricks like waterboarding is going to work. Even some terrorists would not fold with waterboarding.
1
@rollog1248 That is still not torture.
1
Waterboarding or terrorists who are not in uniform is no different from putting them in suits, handcuffs and locking them in cells for years at a time. Such peoples are not subjected to the law like others they are on the battlefield and have given up their rights due to being out of uniform.
1
@rollog1248 So what would you do with the enemy combatants out of uniform?
1
@Lawful_ Tell that to those that fly aircraft into buildings full of innocent people or those that murder jewish children in camps.
1
They are not soldiers in uniform so they have forfeited that right to be treated as such. During WW2 such combatants were executed.
1
+Gregorio Grillo Morales There is nothing crazy about him. It is clear as night and day. Body mutilation is torture. Pouring water on a terrorists face during warfare is not torture. Are we going to next call handcuffs and prison cells torture?
1
@gregoriogrillomorales8046 Please explain that tone as this was stated by you "I don't know Tim Kennedy but he seems kinda crazy". Tim Kennedy passed Q course and was an instructor within special forces and has served as a NCO in battle against some of the most extreme terrorists.
1
Why any of you would worry about terrorists having a fear of drowning is beyond me. These were combatants that was captured on the battlefield in most instance and who would murder children if they could.
1
@foley15136 Tell us you are in the field on intelligence against an enemy not in uniform what would you do. Pour water in their face for information to save the lives of your country men or would you hand them over to local authorities that are not interested in them? And would you then afterwards cry about people who by right should be executed in the field just like WW2. So I guess you are proposing military execution for them?
1
Waterboarding would never work on a special forces soldier who was captured by the enemy. Torture as in daming their body would probably break them down but never sticking water in their faces or airways. Think people special forces personnel do a grueling training course that is on par with waterboarding and they do it when they are exhausted with many day of training. What makes you think waterboarding would work.
1
Lucho Lavalle Nonsense.
1
@MK_ULTRA420 Let me guess you also believe that Nazi combatants out of uniform should not have been executed.
1
I did not realize there was so many commie loving terrorist sympathizers out there. The comment section is full of them. Every one of them seems to be more worried about the feelings of combatants who are not wearing uniforms. God forbid if these commie lovers thought they were putting the terrorists into jumpsuits and handcuffs.
1
@elderrusty541 The alternative to dealing with combatants out of uniform is execution just like WW2. They would be difficult to prosecute under American law and local law simply would be suitable for US forces to apply. Many of the people that are against waterboarding are either naive or anti American. As somebody who has been in the field I do not like the idea of executions but if waterboarding is removed then it would be the only option. And then how do you find information on their command structure as you will no real law to apply against them.
