  2. Companies are free to do so if they desire. Obama used an act to protect moments such as statues and buildings to control land that is millions of acres that is about 55 miles in length (square).

  3. +Don Karage The government does not own public land. It belongs to nobody. Now they can negotiate access to that land but that is entirely different.

  4. The president does not have the authority to make 2 million acres of land a monument. Everybody knows what a monument is and it does not include 2 million acres of land. That is a stretch of land that has a square distance of 55 miles. Does that seem like a monument.
