@francefiliault2629 What about deadly knifes. In France their is 4 million registered guns and then there is 10 times as many illegal guns. The UK has a knife crime epidemic at the moment. The NRA is just a lazy excuse for people. Most shootings in the US are perpetuated by felons and that means people who were convicted and then let out on bond and are still considered a felon. Most US murders are gang related as well in that they have a gang crime connection. There are several cities in the US that make up the majority of gun crime. There is over 3000 shootings per year in Chicago every year alone. I do not think people understand these numbers.

I am not buying the snapping argument. Most US homicides are committed by felons. There is a big gang culture connection with homicide in the US. The UK right now is going through a knife crime epidemic. No body wants to address the real issue because they are culturally sensitive issues.

Bob Swaggot Do you think Ted Bundy and Hitler were products of their environment?

@FlameG102 Most people that commit murder in the US are already a Felon. And you do not think that is an issue?

@alexkirrmann8534 Here is a decade long collation of data on violent crimes. https://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/ascii/vfluc.txt Interpolation of data has demonstrated that violent criminals are responsible of the vast majority of violent crimes. That means those criminal acts have been committed by individual criminals with priors. So can you explain how I am not close with said statement. I eagerly await your response.

@FlameG102 I understand your point but lets examine it a little further. In the past violent criminals including rapists when found guilty would have potentially got a life sentence even if they did not commit murder. Many did not get out of prison until they were in old age and at that point they were not capable of their violent activities. Remember the backlash to 3 strikes out. There is a pathological behavior to many criminals especially those that are psychopaths. About 15% of a population is psychopathic in behavior. Now that does not mean that 15% of the population are violent. Many of these psychopaths do not commit crimes of a violent nature because they know they will not get away with it. About 10% of that 15% are criminal in nature. Many of those that are in jail for drug crimes for example such as possession also have a conviction related to firearms. There is most certainly a correlation between the factors that most people are not aware. I could give you a detail analysis and provide evidence for that analysis but it would be very intensive and simply would require lots of evidence. I will give you these statistical outliers to at least in party convey what I am stating https://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/ascii/vfluc.txt

Mass shootings happen all over the world. Even in the UK where guns have very strict controls.
