  1. The US air force is larger than Russia and China combined airpower. The US navy is ten times larger than the Chinese navy. And here is another little public secret neither Russia nor China has enough nuclear weapons for full exchange. Putin is not stupid and has publicly acknowledged that the Russian military cannot compete with the US not even close. If CHina is stupid enough to try this they will be on their own.

  5.  @LostInLoading  In the real world were an invasion has to take place it requires troop carriers which China do not have enough of. China only has one carrier that would be operational for their naval air force to operate from. Taiwan does not need to operate from sea it only needs to defend and it has an air defence system that would turn the Chinese navy into scrap even before it can get near land. Taiwan has an airforce that would be operating from land and would also have a Naval screen to intercept Chinese naval aircraft. Maybe if China throws everything at Taiwan it may destroy the place but that is a big if.

  6. The US had 16 million troops in WW2 and in WW3 will have about 40 million Troops. Currently US air force is twice as large as Russia and China combined. Current US navy is 10 times bigger than the navy of China. The US has more marines than China has naval personnel and has about roughly 20 million veterans.
