There is a solution to this. Only people with Irish passports would get access to Britain and only people with British Passports get access to Ireland. And each government would have a strict agreement in place. So even if Ireland stays in the EU it would not apply to other EU citizens. Britain could enforce strict agreements with other European countries of their choice.

He has plenty of brains and knows exactly what he is doing. These interviews are designed to try and catch people out. And when they get their little quote they run with it.

@afgor1088 Ireland has a choice to make it either is going to go with Britain on certain issues or decide to go against britain entirely. Ireland is free to drive on the right hand side of the road if it wants to or change to a European electricity supply systems or learn french if it wants to.
