  7. Many of the oil companies are in great shape.. They have cash in reserve, Low debt and many investors understand what is going to happen once the Virus burns out. Oil demand globally is going to go through the roof. This by the way is not just going to happen to oil.

  14. The oil as in petrol that is currently being sold was processed during the periods of higher costs. SO get over it and it is not cheaper to produce oil today either. What do you think robots replaced the human workers.

  24. Do not do that. It would be reckless. Once the virus clears oil demand will go through the roof. Many countries have a reserve of oil and that makes them comfortable but they are using it up and there is not going to be enough production to enable them to have a stable supply. The next problem is going to be economic over heating the media will make a big deal out of it.

  25. There needs to be a massive reserve. Once the virus burns out world demand is going to go to 100. Every country on earth is going ot need petrol, diesel, plastics and so on. Countries with no reserve are going to suffer and will not have access to reserves. Countries like USA, Canada, Mexico, Norway, UK, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE and so on are going to be fine other countries will suffer. There are about 1 billion people in the world with good oil supply and then there is going to be 6.5 billion people competing for the oil.

  27.  @ArthursHD  Renewable is a scam because it is being pushed at a political and cultural level without all the details being presented. I am not against it being used as a form of diversifying energy but it cannot in the foreseeable future replace coal or gas. Just take wind energy each wind turbine requires several tons of copper. To try and create all energy through renewables would require several billion tons of Copper and there are only 800 million tons in reserve. And remember this is only with a developed global population of 3.5 billion wait until 7 to 10 billion come online. Certain countries like Norway and Iceland can use renewable but they are limited cases.
