  3.  @Jeckaa84  I have the V8 4.2 and it has the perfect GT drive characteristics from the engine. It is not designed as a race car it is a GT. V6 is great for sports cars but not great for a luxury GT car.

  7.  @Jeckaa84  V6 engines or flat 6 can be fantastic in sports cars but they are nowhere near as nice to drive in luxury salon or GT cars. V8 engines have the perfect powerband for everyday driving. Even v10 and V12 are not as nice to drive on a daily basis. Electric cars have instantaneous torque feeling but are not as nice to drive as V8 either. I am not against V6 engines but I am being realistic.

  8.  @Briangnc96  If you live in America then there are plenty of great V8 options in both classic and modern cars. If you live in Europe then Mercedes and Audi RS5 (past models) are the only real options. You could pick up a V8 M3 but that will cost and need careful planning due to maintenance and other issues. The Evora and Cayman are both light weight sports cars so the V6 is ok there. But are the new Cayman not 4 cylinder?
